CP&A at Upper Marlboro
CP&A Upper Marlboro Virtual Tour
____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Our practice was started in 1957 by Dr. Leroy Hoeck. Dr. Alan W. Smith & Dr. Arthur Guarinello continued the practice after Dr. Hoeck’s retirement and since 1998 have been a part of the Children’s Pediatricians & Associates, LLC (Upper Marlboro
and Waldorf locations) primary care area of Children’s National Health System in Washington, DC. Dr. Alan W. Smith retired in June 2014 after 35 years of service and Dr. Zafir Kalamadeen joined the practice in July 2014.
We specialize in the care of infants, children, and adolescents. Dr. Arthur Guarinello, Dr. Renette Belizaire, Dr. Gillian L. Brubaker, Dr. Jill Pellicoro, Dr. Zafir Kalamadeen, Aileen Raulin, CRNP and E. Melissa Smith, CRNP have many years of experience
in providing pediatric primary care. They are especially skilled in infant and child care and parent education. Patients are not assigned to any one provider in order that we may get to know all of our patients, and so you may better get to know us.
We prefer to practice preventive pediatrics, and periodic routine physical examinations are encouraged. These visits provide each child with a thorough evaluation of health concerns and allow us to monitor his or her growth and development. Immunizations,
routine blood and urine tests, and other screening procedures will also be done. Please feel free to ask any questions during the examination. We kindly accept your referral of newborns and children to both of our offices located in Upper Marlboro
and Waldorf in Maryland.
