Resident Providers at Foggy Bottom

CP&A Foggy Bottom has trained resident physicians in primary care pediatrics for over 30 years. Teaching is big part of our mission as a primary care pediatric office. All of attending staff are involved in teaching the residents during their three year pediatric residency. In addition to being in our office, residents also work in inpatient and specialty wards at Children's National Medical Center. 

Appointments can be made with any resident provider in the same way that you schedule your visits with our attending physicians or nurse practitioners. If you have an upcoming appointment with one of our residents, their biographies are listed below.


   3rd Year Residents 


Jessica Bush, M.D.

Dr. Bush attended the University of South Carolina for her undergraduate and medical school education. She completed her M.D. at Florida State University. Her hometown is Shalimar, Florida. When she is not working in the hospital or clinic, she enjoys cooking, sporting events, and spending time with her husband and dog. 

Brian Harris, M.D. 

Born and raised in the Washington metro area, Dr. Harris received his undergraduate degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences at Johns Hopkins University. He then completed his medical training at The George Washington University. He is currently pursuing residency at Children’s National in the primary care track. When he is not in the hospital or in the office, he enjoys travelling, cheering on the Redskins/Nationals/Wizards/Capitals, and trying new restaurants.

Abigail Meyers, M.D. 

Dr. Meyers is orginally from St. Charles, Missouri. She attended Vanderbilt University for both her undergraduate and medical education. During residency, she has developed a strong interest in Pediatric Endocrinology, a field she hopes to enter as a fellow next year. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and renovating her new home in Capitol Hill. 

Ariella Slovin, M.D. 

Dr. Slovin is orginally from Worcester, Massachusetts. She attended Barnard College for her undergraduate education and SUNY Brooklyn for medical school. In her free time she enjoys hiking, running, biking, travel, and cooking. 

Michelle Tellado, M.D. 

Originally from the space coast of Florida, Dr. Tellado received a BS in Interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in Integrated Biology with a minor in Anthropology.  She attended medical school at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Heath Sciences.  She is currently pursuing residency at Children’s National in the Primary care track. In her free time she enjoys travelling, watching movies, and trying new things.

2nd Year Residents

Mattia Chason, M.D. 

Dr. Chason is originally from Rome, Italy. He attended Tufts and Harvard for his undergraduate education and Tufts for his medical degree. In his spare time he enjoys soccer. He is fluent in 4 languages. 

Other Languages Spoken: Italian, French, and Spanish. 

Sarah Muradian, M.D.  

Dr. Muradian is originally from Costa Mesa, California. She attended University of California, Los Angeles for her undergraduate education and her medical degree. 

Jennifer Klein, M.D.  

Dr. Klein is orginally from Potomac, Maryland. She attended Washington University in St. Louis, MO for her undergraduate education and received her medical degree from Emory University. 

Lindsay Makara, M.D. 

Dr. Makara is orginially from Ashburn, VA. She attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate education, and Virginia Tech for her medical degree. 


Alicia Widge, M.D. 

 Dr. Widge is originally from Mertztown, PA. She attended Carleton College for her undergraduate education, Harvard University for her graduate degree, and George Washington University / Drexel University for her medical degree. She has lived in Greece and South Africa and conducted past research on the Affordable Care Act.
